With Japanese tissue repairs to front followed by one page ad. and three printed photographs of cricket teams with tissue repairs. Contents, preface and 182 pages with two black and white plates. The name J Arnold to inside back wrap and to pg. 5. Ink stain to pg 123 and a few cases of minor marginalia. Five to six worm holes throughout the publication. Originally published as the Natal Cricketers' Annual from 1885 with J.T. Henderson as editor. This volume, the first as South African Cricketers' Annual. Milton only edited this edition. With a format similar to Wisden, but short-lived and of far greater rarity than Wisden at this period. Title page and two other prelims appear to have been removed.
