Original oil on canvas Aidan Walsh 1932-2009. Well known and highly respected figure in the Kwa Zulu-Natal art scene. He is a listed artist with elite art auction house, Strauss & Co. Artist, gallerist and curator in the Walsh Marais Gallery and the KZNSA gallery for many years. His public commissions included Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo. His paintings of barren landscapes, architectual sites (fabulous and ordinary) have exquisite detail. This piece is a fine example of his minimalist subject matter.
