All 24 issues bound in two seperate volumes in almost mint condition.
These issues cover all areas of the old South African Railways and Harbours and offers items of interest to all enthusiasts including electric and diesel traction, industrial locomotives, Johannesburg trams and even steam driven tugs.
This is not a technical series, it is a nostalgic journey back in time starting in 1951 and containing images captured by the camera of Les Pivnic. A guest gallery is also included where other enthusiasts get the chance to display their photographs.
The first issue was released during June 1997.
Each issue has been signed by Mr Pivnic.
N.B. Due to the weight of these two volumes being almost 4 kg the packaging and postage will be R75.00 via domestic counter to counter service by South African Postal Services.

1) A very informative 8 page booklet issued (date of issue unknown) by the South African Transport Services Museum giving details of the 1947 Royal Tour including maps, photographs, diagrams and technical details of the tour.
