Hi up for auction is a South African Class 5E1, Series 4 Locomotive Number Plate.
These number plates are becoming very scarce as many of them ended up in the scrap yards for there brass value,
and as you can see this one has an unusual E888 number.
I will attach a picture of the original Loco it came from which was decommissioned in Ladysmith, Natal.
Not many people can claim to have a picture of the original loco it came from, I was fortunate to find this picture on the net,
many thanks to the photographer.
This plate weighs 12kg and is solid brass, so please take into account shipping charges.
