In 1960 the All Blacks toured South Africa for the last time before the end of Apartheid. The test match at Ellis Park on 25 June 1960 was won by the Springbok's, the score - South Africa 13 and New Zealand 0. The next year South Africa became a Republic.
This flag was the South African Rugby Union flag of the time and on sale to spectators at Ellis Park. It was used at the Union of South Africa Celebrations of that same year.
It measures 96 cm by 61 cm and is in almost mint condition.
