Simons Town Schools Maritime Studies Programme founder and educator extraordinaire, Brian Ingpen, is one of the recipients of the National Order of the Baobab Silver by President Cyril Ramaphosa. The award was bestowed on Ingpen for his contribution to maritime education.

This unique landscape format book is a first edition hard cover with a firm board slip-case. Published by Rennies Management in 2000. The binding is tight and strong, with no marks.

It still has a 150-year exquisite Rennies celebratory beadwork (representing a bookmark) which came with the special edition of this book 23 years ago. All as new see photos.
