A scarce 1925 South Africa Union Three Pence, catalogued as KM#15a, struck in 80% silver under King George V.
This early Union tickey features the crowned bust of George V on the obverse with the legend GEORGIVS V REX IMPERATOR, while the reverse displays the denomination 3 within a wreath, with SOUTH AFRICA ZUID-AFRIKA around and the date 1925 below. A desirable small silver type coin for collectors of South African Union coinage.
