A very good quarto hardcover book with a very good dustjacket.

Limited edition of 1200 copies.

South African War Books is a comprehensive guide to Boer War literature up to 1920.

The author drawing on his extensive collection, and other sources has produced an important reference embracing general histories. regimental records, official publications, personal accounts and numerous other items, many privately printed.

Over 200 reproductions of covers and title pages are present, many printed in colour. Pages x + 205 of text with numerous illustrations.

Dustjacket has been very neatly overlaid with a clear adhesive laminate which is folded onto the pastedowns.

This book has been withdrawn from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and has a few light stamps on the end-papers together with a lending record label neatly tipped in and barcode label and ownership label.

Dewey label to the spineband underneath the laminate.
