SOUTH WEST AFRICA 1924 KGV Type IVa 5s interpanneau gutter block of 8 (4 pairs) with constant plate flaws in left (A & f joined in Afrika) and right (diagonal line under U on South) panes, very fine unmounted mint, lightly hinged in top margin only. This is an exceptional positional block, possibly unique. (Cat Val is R75000 for mounted mint per gutter pair, this has 2 gutter strips of 4 unmounted = R75000 x2 = R150 000 + 50% for unmounted = R225 000 plus the varieties and strips of 4, not pairs) Exhibition quality! SACC 61 var.
