Welcome, this is one of our mid-month R1 Auctions!
A well-curated regional stock book featuring 30 double-sided pages, densely populated with stamps from Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mauritius, and KUT (Kenya, Uganda, Tanganyika). This collection offers a strong representation of 1970s and 1980s issues, a period marked by post-independence identity, vibrant thematic releases, and evolving postal aesthetics.
Expect definitive series, commemoratives, and thematic sets showcasing wildlife, agriculture, cultural heritage, and national milestones. Botswanas wildlife definitives, Zimbabwes transitional issues, and Malawis educational themes are likely present, alongside Mauritiuss maritime and flora series. KUT material may include late colonial and early independence-era stamps, adding historical depth.
A valuable resource for collectors focused on African philately, post-colonial transitions, or thematic storytelling across nations.
