Collards Southern Georgia

The Southern Georgia Collards plant produces good yields of dark blue-green collard leaves that are high in Vitamin A, B1, B2, and C. It is a good freezing and canning variety. Collards is usually eaten after being cooked like spinach, but can also be used as salad greens. It has a light cabbage flavor. The leaves are blue-green, and full of healthy vitamins and minerals. It is very easy to grow. Plant the seeds in early spring and again in autumn.
