TWO ANTIQUE METAL DRINKING CUPS MANUFACTURED DURING THE 1800's AND EACH EXTENSIVELY AND INTRICATELY DECORATED AROUND THE OUTER SURFACE AREA BY MEANS OF HAND ETCHED PATTERNING -

1)- MEDIUM SIZE SILVER PLATED BRASS WITH A FLARED BASE AND UNUSUAL SCROLL, DIAMOND AND SPRIG PATTERNING ALL HAND ETCHED IN A MANNER WHICH CREATES A NON CONFORMING MOTIF TO THE DESIGNS THE PERSON USED.

2)- A LARGE PEWTER DRINKING CUP HAND ETCHED IN ROCOCO SCROLL, DIAMOND AND SPECKLED PATTERNS.

EACH OF THESE ARE DEFINITELY UNIQUE ITEMS BY THE STYLE OF THEIR PATTERNING

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : NEITHER ITEM IS MARKED OR STAMPED

CONDITION : NORMAL AGE RELATED WEAR INCLUDING SOME PLATE LOSS ON THE MEDIUM SIZED CUP WHICH RESULTS IN BRASS BEING VISIBLE IN SMALL AREAS. ASIDE FROM THIS BOTH ITEMS HAVE NO DENTS, DAMAGES ETC
