Directions for Use:
- Preparation: Start with a fresh fill of water. Clean spa surfaces with SpaGuard Surface Cleaner and clean the filter with SpaGuard Filter Cleaner & Degreaser.
- Application: Add Spa Sentry after refilling the spa with fresh water. The heater should be off during addition and remain off until cloudiness clears.
- Dosage: Add 1 bottle of Spa Sentry per 1000 to 2000 liters of spa water. For water with higher calcium hardness, follow the specific instructions based on the hardness levels.
- Circulation: Ensure the spa water is circulating during and after the addition of Spa Sentry.
- Filter Maintenance: Clean the filters after the initial cloudiness clears to remove precipitated calcium.
- Additional Dosage: For water with calcium hardness greater than 150 ppm, a second bottle may be necessary after 24 hours.
Important Considerations:
- Water Cloudiness: Temporary clouding indicates the product is working to remove excess calcium.
- Equipment Safety: Ensure the heater is off during the initial application to prevent scaling.
- Not Suitable for All Spas: Avoid using in spas with plaster finishes or grouting with calcium.
