Short Description:
Authentic Spanish M1941 Bolo Bayonet, manufactured at the Fabrica Nacional de Toledo, designed for the Spanish Mauser M1943 short rifle. Complete with metal scabbard and wooden grip.
Full Description:
This is a genuine Spanish M1941 Bolo Bayonet, sometimes called a "machete bayonet" due to its distinctive blade profile. Produced at the Fabrica Nacional de Toledo (FNT), it was standard issue with the Spanish 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle and compatible with other Spanish Mauser variants.
The bayonet features a single-edged, fullered blade, a wooden grip secured by screws, and a metal scabbard. Its design replaced an earlier artillery bolo bayonet and reflects Toledos long tradition of steel production and blademaking, dating back to the Roman period.
