About the Artist

PATTY MYNHARDT

Patty started painting in oils in 1980, when she painted on commission and focussed on portraits for clients. She took a 28-year break from painting when she set up her potter's studio in Sea Park, KZN. In 2009 she worked in an Art Gallery where she also taught children to paint. She was inspired to start painting again. She enjoys painting landscapes most of all. The journey in painting has presented itself with interesting challenges. Her goal is to capture the beauty that she sees all around her in a simplified manner. She loves the magic of colour, nature, movement and is driven to paint each day!

As can be seen from her ratings she has a long list of positive feedback on the paintings she has sold thusfar on Bidorbuy's weekly listings.
