Traditional Chinese Yixing (also known as Zisha) tea sets are made from unglazed Yixing clay, prized for the ability to enhance tea flavour and aroma due to the porous nature of the clay which allows the tea to "season" with use. This set is in excellent condition still in original box and comprising of teapot, hot water jug and eight cups. Small teapot is 8.5cm tall and 7.5cm in diameter and cups are 5cm in diameter and 3cm deep. A special set. Refer images.
