On auction is this highly detailed, all metal analogue 3rail Marklin 3041 electric locomotive Series 1043.01 in like new condition. It is fitted with Marklin couplings and headlights. I have lubricated and tested this loco and it operates fine in both directions. All buffer stops and panto's complete and intact. Power can be received from the panto's or third rail. No corrosion on the metal parts including the body. This model was bought 20 years ago and spent all that time in a glass showcase, it was never on a track before, see track wear on the wheels and slide. It should be run-in before use.
