Authentic Vintage Chinese Handcrafted Agate/Silver Teapot

Sourced directly from rural China and Tibet, these beautiful collectable Chinese handcrafted pieces are just the thing to enhance that Oriental theme and make a stunning display when grouped together! Some are vintage, some are antique and each one is hand crafted!

This specific piece is an ornamental miniature teapot. It does not have a cavity and is not designed to actually hold liquid. This piece was crafted around a solid jade ring with a solid revolving jade ball in its centre. The metal parts are non-magnetic and seem to be either silver or silver plated.

Sitting on the removable lid is a curious looking monkey. Eight dragon emblems, four on each side, are situated on the jade ring. The base has a butterfly on either side and a frog is perched atop the handle. Condition is great with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. The piece has a height of about 12.5cm and the jade ring measures 7cm in diameter. It has not been cleaned. With its beautiful detail it will make a great display piece! a Small but very striking piece for the lover of Oriental art!
