The album has 96 pages and is complete with 250 cigarette cards illustrations.

Fascinating history of speed including cars, planes, animals, ships, Natural factors in speed, Insects, Sport and many more.

The Foreword is by Sir Malcolm Campbell. The back page has the words: "The makers of Max Virginia cigarettes present their compliments and have great pleasure in sending you your copy of this interesting publication entitled Speed through the Ages, edited by Sir Malcolm Campbell. This specially written Pictorial History of Speed has been compiled and published expressly to contain the series of Two Hundred and Fifty Miniature Colour Plates presented with MAX VIRGINIA CIGARETTES"
 
The album has some general wear, although the pages are very good and have no tears. The cards are in good condition, with no marks or tears.
