THE GRAND CALIBUR IS A DELIGHTFUL MACHINE THAT I USE EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!

1)      There is NO competition price wise with any other A4 machine on the market and it only costs fractionally more that the A5 machines that are available.2)      The list of materials it can cut is impressive. I have cut them all. No other machine can lay claim to such a wide range of materials.I HAVE TO STRESS THE FOLLOWING:I can only guarantee the cutting of the list of materials with Spellbinder’s dies as well as our own 2-die-4 Dies. I have for instance tried twice to cut thin acetate with other low profile dies on the market and the broke!3)      The functionality and is extensive and you can emboss many objects like chicken wire or thin charms; flatten bottle caps etc. without a hitch.4)      It is the ONLY machine that has any back-up service and that is repairable. We carry spares and supply the spares for free whether the machine is in warranty or not. Handles are supplied free of charge if they break.Customers have to pay to get the machines here and back, unless it is a factory defect, then I carry the charges.(The warranty is void when they use the wrong sandwiches to cut/emboss and break the machine) If the warranty is void, we charge a small labor fee depending on how much labor goes into fixing the machine. From R150 – R350If a machine was opened and tampered with inside we may decide NOT to repair the machine.WE ONLY REPAIR MACHINES THAT WE IMPORTED AND HAVE A SERIAL NUMBER ON OUR LIST!5)      With an integrated handle design, and weighing only 4.5kg, the Grand Calibur is portable and convenient to use anywhere. 6)      It has a stability base that keeps the machine in place during use.7)      It is MUCH faster to use than any electronic cutter on the market and does not need electricity to function.8)      The plates do not warp or bend!!9)      Die dies are not sharp blades that can go blunt, but work on a pressure principle and is virtually indestructible.10)   It can cut 2 pieces of 250gms cardstock on top of each other with 1 single run through the machine, which means that a lot of time is saved when you need to die-cut more than one of the same shape.11)   The Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine accommodates multiple die templates on the new 8½ x 12" color coded plates to either cut or emboss in a single pass.12)   Die cutting and embossing sandwiches are easy to stack with color coded plates and they are also printed on top of the machine for easy reference.13)   It uses a 2 part process first to die-cut the shape and then secondly to emboss the shape. The plates are color coded and easy to identify and use.14)   All other makes of dies/ embossing folders can be cut/embossed except for the very thick Tim Holtz dies. Compatible with Sizzlit™, Cuttlebug™, and Quickutz™ sized dies, as well as Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and Fiskars® Texture Plates when used with the GC-003 Grand Raspberry Plate.15)   The crank action is smooth and easy, and the crank handle feels substantial. The knob is larger than most manual die-cutting machines and it feels ergonomically in the hand.16)   What makes the Grand Calibur exciting is its SIZE! It has a wide mouth opening that will accommodate an 8.5 sheet of paper without trimming. The plates, too, are extra-long – 11¾ x 8¼”-that’s cool if you want to make borders for your 12″ scrapbooks!
