Description
Double bill of animated superhero action. In 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' (2018), Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (voice of Shameik Moore) thinks he is the one and only Spider-Man, but in the shared multiverse known as the Spider-Verse, there are alternate universes and each one has its own version of Spider-Man. When The Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) uses his supercollider and causes these different versions to collide and meet in modern day Brooklyn, they must work together to save the world.
The sequel 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' (2018) finds Miles struggling to cope with the pressure of his parents' expectations and with missing Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), who has returned to her own universe. When he encounters The Spot (Jason Schwartzman), a former scientist with a vendetta against Miles, Gwen reappears in his world and the two are soon travelling together across the multiverse in pursuit of the dangerous villain. As Miles learns more about his origins and the wider Spider-Verse, he comes into conflict with the leader of the Spider-Society, Miguel O'Hara (Oscar Isaac), and ends up alone in a bleak and dangerous world...
