This is a super natural Ethiopian Welo Black Opal weighted at 2.53 Carats. The stone produces vivid multi-coloured fire within a very rare micro honeycomb pattern. Actual stone is much better than image. Overall, a very beautiful rare gem that would ideally be suited to setting in a ring, pendant or for the collector. The Opal has not been cerfified to keep the bid starting price as low as possible. Details of where certification can be obtained, if required, will be forwarded to the buyer. Estimated retail value should be around R20,000 - R30,000.

Please feel free to ask any questions relating to this gemstone before bidding or purchasing.
