Springbok Record is the story of the men who bore the "Orange Flash" of liberty on the battlefronts of the war against the Nazis. The orange flash on shoulder tabs of South African volunteers was borne in the battles in Abyssinia, the Western Desert, North Africa and across the Mediterranean into Europe. It soared in the skies with the airmen of the SAAF, and it rolled with the seamen of the "little ships" of the SANF. With many historically important black and white photographs.
