The Wonder Wash pressure washing machine, also known as the Sputnik washing machine, is one of the best portable washing machines available. It is compact and easy to use and when you have finished, it is small enough to fit into a kitchen cupboard. It will take up to 2.2kg of washing (with a 25lt volumetric capacity, using 6 liters of water per wash for 2 mins).  That is about a third of a load on a standard front-loading washing machine, and it takes 2-3 minutes of turning the handle to do a wash (i.e. it is not electricity-dependent).

The Wonder Wash is ideal for camping, small households and for small, daily loads of washing at home that are normally washed by hand (e.g. cloth diapers and delicates).

How does it wash?

When you put warm or hot water into the drum, fit the lid in place and seal the machine, the air inside the drum will absorb the heat of the water and expand. When the air expands it creates pressure inside the drum. The pressure forces the detergent into & through the fabric about 100 times faster than you could by hand or machine.

How does it rinse? 

There are two ways you can rinse the clothes:

1. Machine - After draining the grey water with the detachable drain spout, leave the clothes in the washer and fill with clean cold water. Replace the pressure lid, tighten and turn the machine for about 30seconds. Drain and wring dry.
2. Hand - Fill the sink or basin with clean water. Empty wash into sink and agitate by hand.
