CITRINE STERLING SILVER WITH OPENWORK FORKED SHOULDER DETAIL. GOLD-HUED STERLING SILVER.

This classically designed ring features a cushion cut citrine of 2,36 carats, claw set in solid sterling silver, with the gemstone held 4mm above the finger in an openwork double-forked setting. A rather nice touch is that that the jeweller has embellished the forks holding the gemstone with small round cut cubic zirconia that have been claw set in gold-hued sterling silver. The sterling silver shank is narrow, the forking starting low on the shoulders, creating an interesting openwork area. The ring head measures 18mm wide x 8mm long, and weighs a solid 4 grams. The piece bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. Rather a nice and reassuringly solid, piece of jewellery.
