I bought this guitar in May of this year. I love the Stratocaster and i love the Squier range of guitars.
This is a great guitar for the price. It is in immaculate condition. Frets have not even seen any wear yet.
I have not had a chance to play it in a band yet.
The only action it has seen was some minor practice at home. Now i have no use for it.
I have upgraded the pickups from the standard ceramic magnet pickups to Alnico 5 pickups. It sound's awesome!
This is a Strat. No doubt. Sounds like one, plays like one.
One change though... The Neck and Middle pickups are swapped around on the 5-way selector switch. So now the standard Bridge and Middle pisition becomes the Neck and Bridge pisition for a telecaster-ish sound.
Action is nice and low.
