Staffordshire Character Jug
As best I can determine, this is a late 19th century Staffordshire character jug, although it bears no maker's mark. It stands 23,5cm tall, and unfortunately has damage to the rim (please see photographs). Still a lovely thing, and seemingly well worth having restored.
