Published by Thomas Nelson, 1937 (first edition)

Hardcover without dustjacket - book is in fairly good used condition. Slight slant, boards have some markings and corners are bumped. Slightly slanted. Front free endpaper is missing.

This is the story of the days of hardy transport riders and stage-coaches, overcoming all difficulties and getting to the journey's end. It tells of the manner that it was done; the adventures by the way; illicit diamond buying anf highway robberies; the life on the diamond and gold fields of those days; this is the story of Alexander Gibson. A great read, truly full of the "flavour" of the pioneering times.
