Inside it has a bottom grid that the coals go on and a top grid fro your meat. hangle fols in when not being used and the lid pops back on with three claps to hold the lid down. Note that there is a smoke vent on the lid and there is one on the bottom of the braai too..

Once you have finished, pop the lid on quickly snap the clamps on (dont burn your fingers) and you can carry it away to an area where it is away and out of sight.
