STANDARD TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
Please note the following before bidding on our auctions. Any bid on our auction, is confirmation that you have accepted our standard trading terms and conditions.
1) Please do not bid on our auctions if you do not intend to buy the item. We will have no option but to file an SNC on successful bidders who do not comply with our terms.
2) Please make payment as soon as possible. We can only post on or normal posting days once your payment is received.
3) All payments are required by Bob Pay – EFT. Pay using EFT (Internet banking) from any South African bank with fast confirmation from bidorbuy. For cash deposits add an additional R16.50 to your payment (EFT no additional charge).
4) Goods will be shipped only on confirmation that payment has been received. We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
5) Insurance is OPTIONAL and available at 2% of the auction price plus postage. In the event of a loss when insured we reserve the right to either refund you, or replace the product if we still have the item available. Refunds and replacement of insured items will only be made once insurance has settled the claim with us. We are not held responsible for any items that are posted without taking out insurance. Please NOTIFY US BY EMAIL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU REQUIRE INSURANCE. If the item has been posted before we receive your email requesting insurance, we are not responsible for any loss or damage of goods.
6) If you require insurance, please add insurance to your payment. The calculation to be used is : Price of item plus postage multiplied by 2%. Example : If price is R 100 and postage is R 30, the total to calculate insurance on is R 130. R 130 multiplied by 2% is R 2.60. This amount should be added to your total giving you a total payment of R 132.60. If you are unsure of the insurance amount, please email me before making payment.
7) Please note that most of our items do NOT include postage. Postage rates are as indicated. Postage rates include administration and product handling.
8) We are committed to offering an EXCEPTIONAL service. If you have any issues with our auctions or service provided by us, we would respectfully request that you contact us . We would kindly ask that customers who have issues raise them with us immediately as opposed to providing a negative feedback on bidorbuy.
9) Warranties and guarentees are as stated for each individual auction.
10) Unless otherwise stated, goods may NOT be collected from our premises. This is due to security reasons. Please note that your bid is acceptance of our shipping charges.
11) We regret that we are unable to ship items out of South Africa. If you require an item out of South Africa, please contact me for a special quotation.
12) We make every attempt to package the items as securely as possible. We are not responsible for items that are damaged in postage.
13) We can only combine items for postage if ordered on the same day. Please see the applicable charge for multiple items relative to your purchase.
14) If items are returned and we find that they are not faulty a 25% handling fee will be charged.
15) Postage on returns and any repostage is to the account of the buyer.
