It is Stamped EROMEL BRONZE COLLECTION BY K CALDER '89.

It is one of a limited series he made for a promotion for Eromel early in his career.
It measures 3,5cm in height and 10x5cm in width.

Born in 1959 Keith Calder completed his tertiary education in Nature Conservation. It is this close association with nature that gives rise to his works, both realistic and stylized. With more recent stylized pieces he has been exploring new avenues of expression.

From hobby to consuming passion and then full time career, Keith has been sculpting for the last 20 years, though he describes his famous series of 11 bronze soccer figures as having revitalized his passion for sculpture.

His idea was to create sculptures unlike any other that would be worthy of celebrating a unique global event. For Keith, sculpting is not just art - it is a creative means of expressing the very essence of life, energy and motion.

The sculptor lives and works in Cape Town, and his sculptures can be seen throughout South Africa and abroad, especially gracing entrances to many auspicious locations such as the De Beers offices in Dsseldorf, Germany, and Dubai Malls Gold Souk.
