Stanley 278 Rabbet and Filletster plane

On offer is a nice condition 278.  It is missing its depth-stop and the

screw locking the fence has been home-made by a previous owner. 

Both spurs are missing.  The blade retains most of its original length.

This will serve well as a collector's piece or as a good functional

addition to a classic toolbox.  Please study the photographs carefully

and if you are in any doubt, do not hesitate to ask questions.
