Stanley Bailey No 5 plane

This auction is for the old Stanley Bailey jack plane in the pictures.

No reserve, very reasonable starting price. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.

This jack plane is in great condition with minor staining due to it's age. Still about 80% japanning left and the sole was lapped. The Beech tote is solid. Comes with a full length iron whick was sharpened flat along it's cutting edge, not cambered. Two tiny cracks at the mouth although it doesn't affect the functionality of the jack any way.

The Buyer is welcome to perform additional cleaning, lapping and polishing, should he require that.

Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.

Shipping will be R50 in South Africa. All items will be properly packed. I am not responsible for any damages by the post office that happens during transit.
