Product Description

This is standard first-person shooter fare with a Star Trek twist. You take on the role of Alex (or Alexandra) Munroe and get to wander about various sci-fi backdrops with ever increasing firepower. The story is well done and you really feel like you are participating in an episode of Star Trek; the weapons are imaginative enough to keep you interested. There's the usual array of puzzles along the way and some surprises and you get to take on the Borg in your attempt to get the crew of the ill-fated Voyager back on the path home.

One of the best aspects of the game is the multi-player experience. You can play either online or offline against bots in a number of sets from the holodeck including the Borg Cube and a Wild West scenario. Unlike the first-person campaign you can also play as your favourite character--cue Seven of Nine running around in ridiculously tight lycra. Basically this is a brilliantly done, atmospheric and immersive FPS for fans of the genre and of Star Trek alike. --Kristen Bowditch
