Star Wars 1995 Galoob Action Fleet A-Wing Rebel Alliance Fighter

THIS IS A VINTAGE 1995 STAR WARS GALOOB ACTION FLEET A-WING REBEL ALLIANCE FIGHTER.
 
THIS A-WING FIGHTER FEATURES AN OPENING COCKPIT AND TWO SWIVEL LASER CANNONS. IT HAS RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR. A POSABLE A-WING PIOT SITS IN COCKPIT.
 
The A-wing was one of two new Rebel Alliance starfighters created for Return of the Jedi. It was dubbed the A fighter because it was the first of the two designs created. By far the fastest and most agile starfighter in the New Republic's lineup, the A-wing interceptor is built for dogfighting.

CONDITION: NO STAND. NO C-3PO FIGURINE. FIGHTER ITSELF IN GOOD CONDITION WITH COCKPIT OPENING AND SWIVEL CANNONS IN TACT. RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR IN GOOD SHAPE. A-WING PILOT FIGURINE SITS IN COCKPIT.
 
GALOOB STAR WARS ACTION FLEET FROM 1995 to 1997:
Lewis Galoob Toys Inc started the Star Wars Action Fleet line in 1995 as a larger, more interactive toy series to their successful Micro Machines from 1987. These included figures and moveable features, such as landing gear and canopies.
In 1998, Hasbro bought out Galoob. Due to the demand from fans, Hasbro in 2002, repackaged the line by re-releasing many old vehicles. However, these versions were more for display purposes as Hasbro upped the price and took out the figures altogether. The line promised much but was canceled before their release.
Nowadays any vintage Lewis Galoob Toys toys are prized by collectors and some continue to be very valuable to this day.
