THIS IS A VINTAGE 1996 STAR WARS GALOOB ACTION FLEET REBEL ALLIANCE Y-WING STARFIGHTER.
 
THIS Y-WING STARFIGHTER FEATURES AN OPENING COCKPIT AND RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR. IT HAS A ROTATING ION CANNON TURRET AND A SLIDE-OUT ENGINE NACELLE HATCH. A POSABLE R2 UNIT DROID SITS BEHIND THE COCKPIT.
 
The Y-wing starfighter, known for its versatility and durability, was a key vessel for the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. It served as both a bomber and a general-purpose fighter, and some were flown by Gold Squadron.

CONDITION: NO STAND. THIS Y-WING STARFIGHTER FEATURES AN OPENING COCKPIT AND RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR. IT HAS A ROTATING ION CANNON TURRET. THESLIDE-OUT ENGINE NACELLE HATCH SEEMS A BIT STUCK AND I DID NOT TRY TO FORCE IT. A POSABLE R2 UNIT DROID SITS BEHIND THE COCKPIT. GOLD LEADER PILOT IS MISSING.

GALOOB STAR WARS ACTION FLEET FROM 1995 to 1997:
Lewis Galoob Toys Inc started the Star Wars Action Fleet line in 1995 as a larger, more interactive toy series to their successful Micro Machines from 1987. These included figures and moveable features, such as landing gear and canopies.
In 1998, Hasbro bought out Galoob. Due to the demand from fans, Hasbro in 2002, repackaged the line by re-releasing many old vehicles. However, these versions were more for display purposes as Hasbro upped the price and took out the figures altogether. The line promised much but was canceled before their release.
Nowadays any vintage Lewis Galoob Toys toys are prized by collectors and some continue to be very valuable to this day.
