Product Description
Star Wars: Battlefront II is a 2005 first and third-person shooter video game based on the Star Wars film franchise. Developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts, it is the second installment in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. Unlike its predecessor, Battlefront II features a more narrative-based campaign, retelling portions of the Star Wars story from the point of view of a veteran clone Imperial Stormtrooper. Players will experience more than 13 all-new battlefronts, both on land and in space, connecting with friends in online multiplayer modes. The game offers improved AI for enemies and allies, enhancing mission-based gameplay.
Key Features
Expanded Single-Player Campaign: Follow the story of the 501st Legion of Clone Troopers, participating in iconic battles from the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War, including events coinciding with Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
Space Combat: Take the fight to space in intense starfighter battles, boarding enemy capital ships and destroying them from the inside.
Playable Heroes and Villains: For the first time, players can earn the right to play as iconic Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and more, each with unique abilities.
New Classes and Abilities: Introduces new trooper classes, vehicles, and the ability to sprint and dodge roll, adding more tactical options to gameplay.
Expanded Galactic Conquest: A strategic mode allowing players to conquer planets, manage resources, and deploy troops in a galactic-scale conflict.
More Battlefronts: Fight across over 13 new locations, including Mos Eisley, Mygeeto, and the Death Star interior.
Enhanced AI: Improved artificial intelligence for both enemy and friendly NPCs creates more engaging and challenging battles.
Multiplayer: Supports robust online multiplayer battles, allowing players to engage in large-scale warfare (note: official PS2 online servers are no longer active, but private servers may exist).
