Hardcover first edition published by The Bobbs-Merrill Company, copyright date 1935, no jacket. The boards are clean and square, with some minor wear and bumps to the edges in places, and sunning to the spine. There is a lengthy pen inscription on the first end-paper, from one J. Inglis Reid, possibly the James Inglis Reid who was the proprietor of a "Scottish-style butcher shop which called 559 Granville Street home from 1915 to 1986", in Vancouver. Apart from a patch of shelf-soil on the external page corners, the pages are clean and unmarked, and all fold-out maps present and intact.
