Sterling Silver and Amber Octopus Pendant on Chain

The modern, sterling silver octopus pendant has a small fixed ring and hinged figure of eight bale. The body of the pendant has fine bead and fine applied ring decoration and is rub-over set with amber in the body (10.0mm x 7.5mm oval, dark honey-coloured with inclusions) and eyes (3mm diameter dark honey-coloured). The pendant hangs from a fine curb chain. The pendant, bale and the chain are marked 925. The chain is also marked Italy and has a further mark resembling a three-leaf clover.
