The modern, sterling silver drop earrings each have a pin and butterfly. On each pin there is a small, inverted teardrop element (set with a marcasite) which supports a twisted circular ring pendant studded with marcasite. The studs and the pendants are decorated with fine beading and edges are grooved to resemble twist-wire. The earrings and butterflies are marked "925".
