Sterling Silver and Marcasite "Handbag" Locket Pendant

The modern, sterling silver locket pendant is in the shape of a small handbag. It has a hinged opening flap and hinged handle, with a double loop on the back of the handle, making a bale to allow it to be worn on a chain. The front and sides of the bag and the front of the handle are all marcasite studded. The back of the bag has pierced decoration. The pendant is marked "925".
