A Sterling Silver Hip Flask. Height including cap 13.4 cm. Width 8.7 cm. Thickness excluding curvature 2.4 cm. Weight 209 gm. The knob on the cap rotates to lock it in the closed position.

London Hallmarks for 1947-48 (M). Maker's mark: "SLD" for William Suckling Ltd.

One indented scratch as indicated by the area circled in red on the front of the flask in one of the images.
