Sterling Silver Longines Pocket Watch (Hallmarked for Birmingham 1882)

The inside reads Longines and Gold Medal Paris 1878.

Bar the hallmarks on the 3 covers there are also the initials M.S and the number 248147.

The outer case (when the watch is closed) is 48 mm in diameter and the watch weighs 104 grams.

The one side shows a rural scene with a country house near a river and bridge, and the other side a hunter on horseback being chased by a bull elephant.

I do not know if the watch is in working condition but bid on it as if it is not or needs a service.
