Sterling Silver Medal: Die Tweede Vryheidsoorlog 1899-1901

These beautiful medals were issued from 1973 to 1978 by the Africana Commemorative Mint. See Laidlaw number 0306. The medals are 45 mm in diameter and weigh between 36 grams and 40 grams each. They were struck in sterling silver and gilded in gold. The medal in the picture below is the actual item you are bidding on.
