Sterling Silver Proof Set: The Ten Commandments by Trechikoff (1978)

Issued by the South African Historical Mint in 1978.

There are ten encapsulated medallions weighing 35 grams each that was struck in sterling silver and plated in 24 carat gold.

They measure approx. 42 mm x 31.5 mm x 2.5 mm each.

Each medallion bears the hallmark of the minter.

This limited set is presented in a red velvet box with some press marks on the lid.
