There is a shell pattern on the bowl of the spoon and the lattice work on the stem reminds me of the curves of the Art Nouveau style. The date letter on the spoon is definitely 1892, which is within the period of Art Nouveau.

This style of lattice work was a characteristic of the silversmiths George Jackson and David Fullerton of London, and their mark appears on the spoon, along with sterling silver and London marks.

Weighs a chunky 12.6 grammes.

Length 11.9 cm , width 2.5 cm.

Beautiful to have and a great investment. "Rand hedge"!
