STING (Gordon Mathew 1951-present) BRAND NEW DAY CASSETTE TAPE FROM 1999
Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner CBE, known as Sting, is an English musician and actor. He was the frontman, songwriter and bassist for new wave band the Police from 1977 until their breakup in 1986.
He gained his nickname after his habit of wearing a black and yellow jumper with hooped stripes with the Phoenix Jazzmen. Bandleader Gordon Solomon thought he looked like a bee (or according to Sting himself, "they thought I looked like a wasp"), which prompted the name "Sting".
Brand New Day was an upbeat song that was released in September 1999, just months before the dawn of the 21st century. The songs lyrics challenged the existential fears surrounding Y2K, offering a counterpoint to views that the apocalypse was just around the corner.

JALUKA (Johnny Glegg 1953-2019) JALUKA LIVE FROM 1986
Juluka was a South African band formed by the late Johnny Clegg and Sipho Mchunu. Juluka means "sweat" in Zulu, and was the name of a bull owned by Mchunu. The Good Hope Concerts is a live album from Juluka. It was first released in 1986.
