LDO Voltage Regulator, Adjustable, 30V in, 1.3V drop, 5A out, TO-220-3Product OverviewThe LD1084V is a low-drop Positive Voltage Regulator providing up to 5A ofoutput current. Dropout is guaranteed at a maximum of 1.5V at the maximum outputcurrent, decreasing at lower loads. The regular is pin-to-pin compatible withthe older 3-terminal adjustable regulator, but it has better performances interms of drop and output tolerance. Unlike PNP regulator, where a part of theoutput current is wasted as quiescent current, the regulator quiescent currentflows into the load, so to increase the efficiency.
