Fixed LDO Voltage Regulator, 8V to 30V, 1.3V Dropout, 5Vout, 1.5Aout, TO-252-3Product OverviewThe LD1086DT50TR is an adjustable and fixed low drop Positive Voltage Regulatorwith 5V output voltage, it is capable of providing up to 1.5A of output current.Dropout is guaranteed at a maximum of 1.2V at the maximum output current,decreasing at lower loads. This is pin-to-pin compatible with older 3-terminaladjustable regulator, but has better performance in terms of drop and outputtolerance. Unlike PNP regulators, where a part of the output current is wastedas quiescent current, the quiescent current flows into the load, increasingefficiency. Only a 10µF (minimum) capacitor is needed for stability. On-chiptrimming allows the regulator to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance,within ±1% at 25°C.
