The new TRIACs provide very high dynamic performance andenhanced performance in terms of power loss and thermal dissipation. This allowsoptimizing the heat sink size, leading to space and cost effectiveness whencompared to electro-mechanical solutions. Based on ST Snubberless technology,it offers a specified minimal commutation and high noise immunity levels validup to the maximum Tj. The device optimize safely the control of universal motorsand of inductive loads. Due to its high electrical noise immunity level and itsstrong current robustness, the device is designed for the control of ACactuators in appliances and industrial systems.
